Oliver Ellerton
Director
Oliver has lived and worked in Asia since January 2010, managing the marketing and communication requirements for some of the largest brands in the world. Oliver started off in Malaysia where he took on the role of PR Manager for the prestigious luxury hotels The Ritz-Carlton, Kuala Lumpur and JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur, managing the marketing communications for both hotels for almost three years. After stints in Indonesia and The Philippines Oliver arrived in Singapore to work with FleishmanHillard, before setting up his own consultancy, Ellerton & Co.
Based in the heritage area of Joo Chiat, Ellerton & Co’s roster of clients is worth well over US$7 billion, and the team manages local and international communications for firms ranging from large multinationals, growth-oriented SMEs and local start-ups. The range of services include strategy and PR roadmap building, media engagement, digital marketing and social media, among other areas.
Oliver studied Arabic at the University of Edinburgh and is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Brown Belt, teaching Jiu Jitsu in his spare time.

Karishma Kataria
Director
A strategic communications consultant by profession and a storyteller by passion, Karishma has been a trusted reputation advisor and brand custodian for technology, FMCG and lifestyle clients across Asia for close to 9 years.
As a Senior Manager at Edelman, she led HP’s South East Asia and Korea workstream to deliver PR campaigns, media engagements and brand messages that have had a laudable impact. She has also been the idea machine, content generator and regional PR coordinator for Samsung Electronics in Asia.
While following her passion for social impact campaigns, Karishma crafted the Ivory Lane jewelry brand story for WWF in Singapore and ignited conversations on illegal wildlife trade.
She has also worked with clients including Diageo, SABMiller, PepsiCo, and Indian Premier League cricket team.
For two years she worked on embedding the Diageo brands in popular culture, through creative communication concepts and initiatives, well-executed via meticulous work plans and finesse, to deliver measurable impact. During this time, she drove a team of 7 to strive for excellence for clients and engineered massive campaigns spread across PR, social, content and events.

Senior Account Executive
Ashley Silitonga
Ashley is a public relations professional with over four years of experience profiling personalities, products and businesses, and helping clients raise brand awareness in the local and regional media. At Ellerton & Co., she supports her senior colleagues, helping them draft PR materials and social media copy, as well as manage media relations and secure coverage for accounts in the corporate, tech and hospitality sectors.
Her career began at Catherine Ong Associates, a Singapore-based boutique PR consultancy, where she developed communications strategies, engaged media and serviced clients, which span from clean energy and legal to property and finance. She has also managed media relations for several large-scale conferences, such as the Ministry of Law and Forbes Asia, and social media accounts for various lifestyle brands.
She was also a freelancer copy creator for boutique fashion labels, helping them create content copy for their social media that reflected the respective brand personalities.

Alicia Laszewski
Alicia is Ellerton & Co.’s partner in the United States and is the main point of contact for our clients in the USA through her agency, Brand Ethos, serving as the outsourced Chief Marketing Officer for companies looking to grow and scale.
Prior to Brand Ethos, she was the Global Chief Marketing Officer and Employee Engagement Officer for Singapore-based C3/CustomerContactChannels. Before C3, she served as the Broward County Chapter Executive and Regional Marketing Officer for the American Red Cross, leading the Chapter during the economic downturn, the disaster in Haiti, and a change in strategic direction.
Alicia served for over nine years as the Vice President of Marketing, communications, and Recruitment for PRC, a global contact centre provider and was a key member of the team that sold the company to Barry Diller’s USA Interactive, Corp. in 2000. Alicia was also on the founding team of Extended Stay America, Inc. where she served as the National Marketing Manager for the hotel chain.
She began her career at Univision Television Network’s largest station, WLTV-23 in Miami before crossing over into the corporate world. A native of South Carolina, Alicia received her BS in Marketing and Communications from Clemson University.

Michael de Waal-Montgomery
Director
Michael’s career has spanned both journalism and PR. He started his career as a journalist, writing for some of the region’s leading tech publications including VentureBeat (Mark Zuckerberg’s favourite tech blog) and E27. Michael covered some of the world’s leading start-ups, learning to discern a good story from a bad one and attracting millions of page views to his articles. He has also written for major newspapers in Asia including the Hong Kong’s South China Morning Post.
Michael moved into public relations where, while at FleishmanHillard, he consulted for global clients including SAP, Skyscanner, VMware, and Pivotal. He was the former Head of Communications at Marvelstone Group, a private equity firm based in Singapore, as well as a Content Manager at Unbound, the organiser of Southeast Asia's largest tech conference. Michael’s diversity of experience allows him to bring to bear a number of skills – from storytelling and media relations to client management and consultancy – that allow him to help organisations tell their stories and position themselves for success in the media.

Rosie Atkins
Manager
Rosie is a communications expert handling campaigns in Singapore and Asia Pacific for Ellerton & Co. Rosie manages a number of accounts in the tech, finance, lifestyle and corporate space, ensuring the day-to-day operations of her accounts, as well as building and maintaining relationships with journalists, influencers and clients. Passionate about storytelling, Rosie enjoys creating innovative brand stories, organising events and connecting brands with consumers and partners.
Rosie’s background in Public Relations began in London with the leading luxury fine diamond jewellery firm, Boodles. Rosie managed all events and assisted with PR efforts for over three years, organising lead-generating events, driving sponsorship and raising awareness of the company throughout the United Kingdom. Moving to Singapore, Rosie joined the PR agency VIM & VIGOUR PR, where she has looked after a variety of leading lifestyle and consumer brands including Scott Dunn, Lyre’s, Singita and Mr & Mrs Smith.

Matthew Lu
Matthew handles all digital marketing, design and creative work, designing and developing websites, social media content, collaterals, social media management and more.
Matthew has over a decade’s experience in brand retail and distribution and has deep experience building brands and expanding into Southeast Asia. While General Manager at Key Power International he developed the brand architecture from scratch, creating a responsive e-commerce platform localised to each international market that the company grew in to.
At The Bag Creature, a leading bag and lifestyle retail store, Matt created all design work for the company, designed and developed the e-commerce website and managed all digital marketing and communications strategies. Matt’s software skills include Photoshop, Illustrator, After Affects, SketchUp 3D, and Google SEO and Analytics among others.

Jim Lau
Jim is a communications consultant with over a decade of experience in technology, finance and lifestyle PR, with expertise in managing APAC and Greater China communications campaigns. Jim has a proven track record in driving communications results for clients, leveraging his deep media contacts in Hong Kong and Greater China.
As a senior manager at Hilton APAC, he was responsible for hotel and hotel owner-related communications strategy and development and managed the brand’s reputation in the region. Prior in joining Hilton APAC, Jim worked in FleishmanHillard Hong Kong with clients including AT&T, Fitbit and Liverpool Football Club.

Rachel Lee
Rachel Lee is a digital marketing and social media content strategist based in Singapore. She works cross-functionally across multiple digital and social media platforms to drive awareness, leads and other KPIs for clients.
Clients that Rachel has worked with include Decathlon, Michelin, Singtel, eBay and Pizza Hut among other brands. Rachel assist clients in a number of ways including Comprehensive Digital Marketing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Google Adwords, Google Shopping, Google Display, YouTube Advertising and Social Media Advertising among other capabilities.
Rachel works closely with Public Relations, content and design teams to build quality content and promote it through digital channels, driving results for clients across Asia and global markets.
